We use Quickbase for a number of "Public" registration and response forms. We do not want Quickbase to default to the mobile version for those accessing via tablets (or any mobile device given the our perceived deficiencies of the mobile version).

I read somewhere adding "?a=Dashboard&fullVer=1" to the end of the URL would return the full version on mobile devices, but when I added this to the URL I was promoting on a twitter post, it still sent me to the mobile version when accessed on my IPad.  Did I get this wrong?

Also anyone from Quickbase monitoring, get rid of Flash on help.  IPad users cannot reach you.

Hi Jeff,

When accessing Quickbase via a mobile device, you will have an option on the log-in page to choose the Mobile or Full version of the site.

If you would like to post/email a link that would bring a user to the full site, you would copy the URL of the page that you want the user to access, then add the ?a=dashboard&fullver=1 to the end of it. If the user clicks the link when they are not already signed into the account, they will be routed directly to the sign-in page for the full site. Once the user enters his/her credentials and signs in, he/she will be directed to the full site.

Also, when logged into the mobile site, users will always have an option to use the full version by either clicking the menu tab in the upper, left corner of the screen-> Scrolling down to the bottom of the menu, then clicking the Full Site button. Or, by clicking the Mobile/Full Site button at the top of the page near the Favorites button.

Thanks,

Jared, sorry for being so slow to respond.  I operate a golf course where we use Quickbase for many activities, from tee times to tournament registration and in many apps, we have opened access to everyone on the internet and they are not required to sign in.  We really require the ability to block their access to the mobile sight (not that they opt out, but are not allowed to go to the mobile sit no matter what kind of device they are using).

So that is what I am looking for, either an ad on to a url or an administrative option that turns the mobile site off.  I have tried the add on to the url you have shown, and it does not work.  People going to a quickbase url via the web on their mobile device with the add on you indicated to the url still opens the app in the mobile application.
