Hi John,

I cant say I have used Quickbase for that, however have used it for tracking things like applications and assets before so I would imagine this is similar. There is an app exchange which may have what you want all ready built or alternatively you can build something specific to your need. If you don't want to get get involved directly in building the app, Quickbase has a number of partners which are developers with experience in building Quickbase apps and system integration's.

Quickbase is a versatile platform that enables you to build apps for all sorts of uses, most of this can be done without coding. You can however also use coding to enable Quickbase to do additional things, such as integrate with websites, other databases and systems using its API and SDK's. There are also a number of integration options which are coding free (depending on your plan) to connect to other systems such as salesforce, pick up csv's from gmail etc.

If you aren't already using Quickbase getting in touch with the Quickbase sales team is a good start as they can help you http://quickbase.intuit.com/contact-us or sign up for a free trial and view the app exchange.

Yes, we have successfully moved our returns and repairs data from MS Access and MySQL into Quickbase. The data is easily maintained in Quickbase and the reporting tools are excellent. Most of the design and implementation was done in-house with with a little support from an outside vendor.

We used the Data Collaborative for this project and continue to use them for both ongoing support and new projects. They are listed as a preferred Quickbase vendor or you can find them directly at: https://datacollaborative.com/
