Should be able to link emails to contacts and projects which provides better time management and integration with each modular. Dont want to have to work out of many separate programs

Hi Peter,

When you're looking at a single record or a report, you can click the Email button to send a copy of that item out by email. In New QuickBase, those links are in the top-right of the screen; in Classic QuickBase they tend to be on or underneath the blue bar (next to Next and Edit buttons on forms and next to the Grid Edit link on reports).

Brian, I believe Peter was asking whether or not QuickBase provides an email client, and to that question, there is but one simple answer; nope.

While you can create email 'notifications' in QB, you cannot simply send an email to a contact as needed without using a URL link and summoning your external mail client. My company uses QB but this void in functionality has generated considerable negative feedback from our employees and management over the years. Hopefully, one day QB will introduce a true front-facing email client to their offering. Until then, we'll just sit with blank stares on our faces wondering why this piece remains unanswered. Then again, who really uses email and what value would there be in having an email client integrated into a CRM solution?
