I have an embedded report on a parent table with a checklist. The user would have about 8 options to chose from for each checklist task. I set it up to have buttons to press, but it's very cumbersome. Additionally, the page refreshes each time the user hits a button, and that's kind of annoying. I was hoping there was a way to have a multi-select field that can be edited from a report without having to go into grid edit.

Honestly, any suggestion to make this more user-friendly would be great!! Here is a screenshot of how it is set up now. These checkboxes act like buttons and change the image shown when checked/unchecked.

See this application which converts a report into a form (I call it a formport):

Select some checkboxes and press the green button. This can be coded to have multiple checkboxes and perform some action like  updating fields in bulk when the button is clicked.
