Email id entered in text field is visible with hyperlink and when i click on emial id, it composes new email using my outlook.

Email id stored in text field is visible with hyperlink in view mode and when i click, it composes new email in outlook. Is there a way to remove the hyperlink when we store email id in text fields?

Is this a URL formula field?  Are you using "Link Text" in that field's Properties?  The Link text is era is displayed to users.

Its a normal text field. and when am saving email id in this field hyperlink is coming :(

I'm sorry, but I don't know how to suppress an email address being turned into a hyperlink by the Browser.  It may just be how all browsers behave in trying to be helpful when they see text which appears to be an email address.  An extreme alternative would be to display a formula version of the email address where the email address is slightly corrupted, by putting a space before and after the @ sign.  Then I assume that the Browser would not make it a hyperlink.

try this as a field to display in view mode.  In Add / Edit mode display the real field.

If(Contains([email id],"@"), List (" ",  Left([email id],"@"), "@", Right([email id],"@")))
