in creating a report, I have a field where we enter the date of when a specific status is change to, in my example, when status is change to "pass" we manually enter the date when the status change,

a status report is sent out daily, and we only want to see entries with a "pass" status once from the previous day.

so for example, in today's report, if we change an entry's status to pass yesterday, it should show up in today's report, but should not show up on tomorrow's report.

any solution to achieve this?

thanks!

Just filter the report where the [date status changed field] is "yesterday".

If you have the complication that Yesterday for a Monday is the previous Friday, then you will need to make a new formula field called Previous Business day with the formula

WeekdayAdd([date status changed field],-1)

and filter where that date field is equal to the [Previous business day].

its missing the condition of the drop down, we have 5 statuses, all must show on the report, except, when it says pass, it should only show on the report, once, make sense?

When you make a report filter you can do this.

[Status] is not equal to PASS
or
[Date status changed] is equal to yesterday
