I've seen some older questions about this, and I'm hoping there's a recent solution.

If the user leaves a form (to create a child record, for example) is there a way to make sure they come back to the same tab they were just working on?

This post may help: https://community.quickbase.com/quickbase/topics/using-z-rurl-and-rdr-in-formula-url-fields

The link describes how you can use "&z="&Rurl() and rdr to return to the desired location after adding the record.  This assumes that you are adding the child record using a button.

I do not believe it will return to the tab that you launched off of.  It will land on the first tab.

Mark, you're right.  I misread this one.
