OK,

We have a formula field which calculates the following.

[Sale Price Excluding Fees (Current Forecast)]-[Build Cost (Current Forecast)]

There are some anomalies in this which skew results eg. when there is no Sale Price.

I would like to cover this with a conditional format, that when [Franchising Status]="Not Sold" the resultant numeric would be 0.

I tried the below (which I know is only half the picture)

If([Franchising Status FR]="Not Sold", "0")

however it won't accept that by itself due to the field being currency.

Try this:

If([Franchising Status FR]="Not Sold", 0,

[Sale Price Excluding Fees (Current Forecast)]-[Build Cost (Current Forecast)]

You had "0" - which is a text value, so change that to just 0 for a numeric value.

That takes care of the first part - with the result being 0 when [Franchising Status FR]="Not Sold".

Then the "else" result would be your current formula - [Sale Price Excluding Fees (Current Forecast)]-[Build Cost (Current Forecast)]
