Hi everyone,

 I recently implemented a Formular URL as button which allows to download a file. Now the requirement is to set a date on a certain field so you can see when the button was triggered.

Can you post your current formula?

If([Text_field_1] = "yes", URLRoot() & "up/" & [TABLE_ID] & "/a/r" & [Record ID#] & "/eNumberOfField/v0",
   [Text_field_2= "yes", URLRoot() & "up/" & [TABLE_ID] & "/a/r" & [Record ID#] & "/eNumberOfField/v0")

Obviously, there is no other URL used than downloading a file from a certain table and field.
As mentioned before I need to find a way to set a date for a certain field in my form.

Try this

var URLONE = urlroot() & "db/" & dbid() &  "?act=API_EditRecord&rid=" & totext(record id#])

& "apptoken=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" // either turn off the need for app tokens or supply one here

& "&_fid_99=" & totext(today()); // repolace 99 with the fid of your date field

var text URLTWO =

If([Text_field_1] = "yes", URLRoot() & "up/" & [TABLE_ID] & "/a/r" & [Record ID#] & "/eNumberOfField/v0",
   [Text_field_2= "yes", URLRoot() & "up/" & [TABLE_ID] & "/a/r" & [Record ID#] & "/eNumberOfField/v0");

$URLONE

& "&rdr=" &URLEncode($URLTWO)
