Hi we have a field which displays the total days since the last update. This does not include weekend days. And we want to stop counting it when the ticket is closed. How can we stop the counting once the ticket is completed. Below is our syntax for for the field “Last Update – Days":

If(IsNull([Last Update - Date])

,WeekdaySub(Today(),ToDate([Date Created]))

,WeekdaySub(Today(),[Last Update - Date]))

This is the formula I have for my current Elapsed Ticket Time (formula - duration field). Mine does include weekends.

If(
  // Open Tickets
  [Status] <> "Closed", Now() - [Date Created],

  // Closed Tickets
  [Status] = "Closed", [Date Closed] - [Date Created],

  // Default (Should not should occur)
  null
)

Hi Ann, thank you for you response. i updated my syntax but this field doesn't stop the  counting.  This syntax is for field "Last Update Days"

If([Ticket - Complete]=true

,If(IsNull([Last Update - Date]) and [Ticket - Complete]=false
,WeekdaySub(Today(),ToDate([Date Created]))

,If(Now()-[Last Update - Time Stamp]<Hours(24) and [Ticket - Complete]=false
,0
,WeekdaySub(Today(),[Last Update - Date])
)))

Any thoughts? thanks and regards. :smile:
