I want to hide a field from entry based on a checkbox.  I assume I make the field I want to hide a text-formula.  But not sure how to code this so it will hide from showing if another checkbox field is checked.

I already tried...

If([Stations - REG-Regular Fuel]=true,
[REG-Meter Reading],null)

Stations - REG-Regular Fuel is a checkbox and if there is a check in the box, I want the REG-Meter Reading to not show on the screen for this database.

Any help?

Hide and Show is done through Form Rules rather than formulas.

When viewing the record, look to the right and just below the top for "Customize this Form" and click on it.  Then select Dynamic Form Rules.

Add a new rule.  It should be relatively simple to follow their lead from there.

I do not want to do this in a Form.  This should be able to do in the input screen as any normal database can easily do.  I am new to QB and need the field formula to hide the field based on a checkbox.

The "Input Screen" in QuickBase is called a Form, and as David described above, you manage the Dynamic behavior of the Form through Form Rules.
