I have a table that allows customers to submit their own trouble tickets. When that's done, they become the owner of the record. I'm trying to set up a daily reminder for the person assigned to work the ticket based off of a follow up date field. The problem that I'm having is that when I go to create the reminder, the drop down menu only give me 2 options > the last person who updated the ticket (which can be anyone who has access to the table) or the owner of the record. How can I go in to the reminder format and edit the drop down menus to include the field Assigned To?

Is the field type for the Assigned to a "User" field type?  Or is it just a drop down list of what QuickBase will see as just random words (peoples names)

A drop down list of peoples names
Well, if the name is John Smith, how is QuickBase supposed to know who they are?

So the answer is to change that drop down list to a table which includes the user name.  If that drop down list is just a list built into the field itself, then you will need to change that to be a lookup off a relationship.  ie, build a table of "Ticket Takers"  (ie valid choices for Assigned to" and include the Userid in that table.  Then 1 Ticket Taker will have Many Tickets and you can lookup the Ticket Taker's Userid into the Tickets table.  Then you will be able to set up reminders and subscription reports for "My Tickets' where  [Assigned To]  is equal to the current user
