Hi Quickbase wizards,
I'd love to be able to allow users to attach a lot of files to a form. Right now I have included 10 attachment fields (but I need even more in some cases).
It seems a bit overkill just to keep adding attachment fields to form, and it gets a bit messy. Is there a better way I can incorporate attachments into my form? Ideally without the use of any add-ons.
I've had the chance to have a little play around with this after reading your reply. It doesn't seem like this is a very intuitive way of attaching files for the user (maybe I am missing some key settings!).
The user has to click on a button which takes them to a new page where they can upload a single file. They then have to repeat to add more.
The output is displayed in a little report table that's viewable on the form where each row of the table is a different page.
Is there a way to condense it down to a format that is closer to the field-based file attachment method?
Juiced Technologies a great 3rd Party Partner, has a wonderful add on tool for multi file add. They have a demo here
Just select the 1st option.
I have implemented their products many times for my clients and have implemented that particular add on tool as well.
