How can I calculate the 'ID' for the icalendar field?

I'm trying to use a URL to pull the ics file for a given record.

I was hoping to make a image onload/module.js page that would magically email the most recent ics file when the record was updated.

I was going to use the base code from the graphic link QB makes for the icalendar file in a report or form display, and just swap the record Id value at the end of the string.

But the record id's don't seem to line up to the rest of the QB Universe.

I have attached a little report to show the issue.

I think another solution would be to pass that value across to the module.js page - but that's a mystery I'm not finding any clues for, either.

So - how does the ICS file id value get generated?

The parameter rid takes a decimal value of the [Record ID#] whereas the parameter r takes an obe32 encoded value of the [Record ID#].  Anywhere in QuickBase where you see strings such as bkgey43uz (a dbid value) containing any of these 32 characters "abcdefghijkmnpqrstuvwxyz23456789these are obe32 encoded strings.
