over the years people have been adding fields to our main form and ignoring the "Copy the value when using "Copy this Dispatch" to add a new Dispatch" option (this is the description beside the "Auto-fill" check box in my application). apparently this check box was defaulting to checked and we have lots of fields that get copied over when we copy a store. i need to uncheck this box on almost all of these fields and want to see if there is a way to "grid edit" field properties for all the fields at the same time.

Can you post a screen shot and URL of exactly where this text occurs: "copy the value in this field when copying record" ?

No such text appears on a field property page. See my screenshot where I highlight the only field option that is close you your text.

Substitute your (1) dbid, (2) apptoken, (3) array of fids and (4) set the doesdatacopy to either "1" or "0" and paste the code into the JavaScript console (to expose press F12). See screenshot attached.

Notes:

(1) My Firebug console has been detached from the browser and probably looks different from yours because of the set of plugins I use. Just paste your command into your JavaScript console and wait for everything to complete.
