I have several records with capitalization inconsistencies that I would like to correct. However, they are in a multi-select field where other options are selected so I cannot do a grid edit copy/paste. How can I make a global type change?

I would like to change  ASR (Not Legacy)  to
ASR (not Legacy)

No problem,

Make a report with the columns of [Record ID#] and the [multi select field] and export to Excel.

The Excel column will be the multi selected choices delimited by a semi colon ;

Use Find and Replace to do your Global change.

Import back into your app.

You may want to test this fist on a copy of your app.  I just tried this myself and it worked fine.  The Excel Find and replace is super powerful.

You can do it within QuickBase with script using regular expressions. See:
