How can I setup access to a child table based on the access to the parent table (I've seen info on doing the reverse)? The parent table has access by multiple criteria.

In this case, the parent (opportunities) has access by the Sales Rep and other additional viewers.  We'd like all of these people to also see the child (Activities).  Is this possible with Quickbase?

Thanks,
Dave

re: Is this possible with QuickBase.

Of course, easy peasy.

You probably have Custom Rules setup on your Role Permissions based on certain fields or perhaps a Rule based on a formula field.  Just lookup those fields down to the child record and duplicate the same access rules on the child table using the basically same fields, just the lookups of the same fields.

Thanks, Mark!  I'll give that a shot.  I'm new to Quickbase, but what you mentioned makes sense.  Thanks again!
