How can I show the last added task for a person on the people table?

I have a database of volunteers going through a training and orientation process. Each volunteer has tasks that are assigned to a staff member (Phone call, follow-up email, etc). I have already set up the relationship but is there a way I can show the last task added to a volunteer on the same line as the volunteer's basic information? That way if I am scrolling through the list of volunteers, I can see at a glance where they are in the process.

No problem, you just need to think in reverse and do a reverse relationship.

On the Relationship between Volunteers and Tasks do a summary of the Maximum Record ID# of the task, and call it [Record ID# of the most Recent task]

Now do a reverse Relationships where 1 task has many Volunteers and be sure to choose that new field as the "reference field" on the right aide of the Relationship.  Do a lookup of the most recent Task description to the Volunteer and yer done!
