How can you have info from a specific field on a table in one app sent to a table in a different app without loosing info in the original table?

We have a table in a management app that has sensitive information in it but also some info that the line level employees need access to. What we would like to do is have just the info field the employees need to auto generate in a different app and Table they have access to.

One approach is to use QuickBase Sync to replicate the table into another table and let it update each hour.

This will not work because I can't have the entire table viewable to all staff (sensitive material) I need 1 field from a table to be viewable on another app

But my suggestion was to have QuickBase Sync just copy across that 1 field that is generally meant to be available to all employees copy across to the app and table that they can see.  They would not be allowed to see the main table with the sensitive information.

An alternative, depending on if these two table have a key field in common is to lookup the value of that 1 field into the other table.
