How do I assign multiple tasks to a change once approved?

We are using a change tracking system and once a change is approved, there are 6 tasks assigned to track the progress.  Each task is added individually now, would like to have a way to assign all tasks at once.  The copy feature seems to create a new change and that's not what is needed.

There is a native solution here.

Make a Change record with its perfect 6 children. Perhaps call the record "Model Change Request"

Then go to Settings for the Application, then App Management, then Copy Master Detail. Follow the wizard as it walks you though the process and at the appropriate time select the option to always copy in detail records from the same Master, the "Model Change Request"

The result will be a button to push on the Master record to copy in the standard 6 Tasks. I would also suggest a summary count field on that relationship and then a form rule to hide that button when the Change record already has Tasks, i.e. When the button has already been pushed.

Thanks for the quick reply but I think I need to give more details.  I had set this up yesterday but it makes a new change as well as the new tasks.  I don't want a new change, I just need the 6 tasks (that live on a separate tasks table) added to the existing change (which live in a separate table called changes).  I set the copy up on the change table as the choices on the tasks table did not look like it would work without having 6 separate buttons.
When setting up the button, again, choose the option to always copy in tasks from the same record. Then it will not Copy the Parent.
