i've created a new table called "Project Summary" where i pull data from all the other tables in the application to get a summary of a bunch of different data.

i initially tried to figure out how to simply display those summary fields in a text section of my dashboard, but its not "simply" done haha.

next i tried to change the home page of the "Project Summary" table to display the singe record i created, but i can only get it to display a report.

any ideas how i can easily display the summary fields from the "Project Summary" table directly on the dashboard in a text section at the top?

OR

how i can get the single record to display as the home page for the "Project Summary" table when i click that tab?

OR

a better way to get the Project Summary data created and displayed?

I will post this as a comment as its not a full answer.  I would suggest that for now you just put up a text box and  you can include a URL web link to that record with a label that says "Click Here for Summary page".  Beyond that you will need to wait for QuickBase to make Dashboards more flexible.

What Mark suggested is a great work around. I would suggest doing that as well.

with the new dashboards, is it possible now to display specific summary fields from a specific record on the dashboard without having to display a report with the summary fields?
