How do I get the fields to populate when connecting to a table in a different application?

I am trying to connect to a table from a different QuickBase application, we'll call it QB 2014. After selecting the table, the fields list will not populate. I get the error message "we couldn't open the fields list. Please try again". I have retried several times to no avail. What does it take to see the fields list of my table? (Note: If I select other tables in that application I can see the field list).

Have you enabled a cross app relationship in the app settings and assigned a role with permissions to access the table you are trying to access?

Yes, I am confident it is connected to the target application because I can access all of the other tables in that application. The only table in that application I cannot access is the one that I actually need.

Very strange. It may be worth contacting Quickbase support to take a look at it.
