I'm building a template project.  I originally added all the tasks that I thought I would need in the project, but now I need to add a couple more tasks and put them in the correct order.  How do I do this?

I assume that they are sorting not to your liking. Add a sort field and then look at the report being used and choose that sort field to sort on.

Tip: access the report from Form Properties and there is s blue link.

I'm new to quickbase.  I mainly want to use it as a project management tool.  I'm using a "simple project manager" app to get started.  I have created a project and populated the project with tasks.  Now I need to rearrange the tasks.  I can't find anything that says "Form Properties" where I can add a sort field.

Ok, so locate the Task table and in settings locate the field list.  Then add say numeric field and give it a name like Sort. It will probably end up on the Task form, but either way, go into a task record and customize the form to position the sort field on the form where you want it.

Then go back to that Parent project record and navigate through the form properties to locate that embedded task table. Then go through the blue link to edit the report and change the report to sort on your sort field.
