I am an entry level user.  I have created an app to save and store recipes and food related videos and websites.  I already use Quickbase for business (this is a side bit)

I have set up a user (everyone on the internet) - I copied and pasted the URL to share a page (on facebook) and I get the following text with the picture - is there a simple way to avoid this ?

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, QuickBase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and...

Well, I am confused.  What I click that link I get your recipe with a nice salad and no extra words.

I get that as well.. but when I share the link on facebook (using copy paste) I get the other paragraph - sometimes the picture and sometimes only the link.

OK, so I have no idea why it is dong that, but try using this format instead.

https://carmenbrown.quickbase.com/db/bkktqxn84?a=dr&rid=xxx where xxx is the Record ID#.  Maybe that will make a difference.

I see a big salad but I can't make any sense out of what you are asking. You need to provide a better description of what you are observing or annotated screenshots.

Neither of you are making any sense in your statements. What text is showing up that you don't want? Are you referring to the QuickBase branding chrome that you can remove like this:

When I use either one of those links that are just posted - I get quick base error - recipe not found.  To be more clear for dandiebolt - look at my original question - there is a screen shot - the link works fine when I share this on the web (to be specific - facebook) - but I get this additional text " when you bring .... "(you referred to this as QB branding chrome)  in the box along with a picture of a salad and the name of the salad.  -  it is the branding Chrome then that I would like to know if I can remove. - and of course how easy is this going to be every time I want to share a recipe?  I have tried sharing other links from this app (to facebook) and sometimes only the link shows (and it works) and other times I get the same box with QBase info and a picture of a lady with a phone headset..  My coding knowledge is zero.  I can look at a url and compare it is about all. - sorry for the trouble, and thank you if you are able to help me fix this.

I've edited the original question to include more screen shots when sharing the link to facebook - this one of the link for the "website # 5"  https://carmenbrown.quickbase.com/db/bkktzm7ad?a=dr&r=f&rl=bzk
and this is the link that produces the QB error   https://carmenbrown.quickbase.com/db/bkktqxn84?a=dr&rid=9

I've decided to take a different route and found a site that is more suitable to what I am trying to do - I appreciate your responses - not sure how to delete this question.
