How do you indicate that you want the next value to go on a new line when you're making a text formula, like Company Name and Company Address (which you want underneath)?

List("\n"

[company name]

[company address])

The "\n" character will break to a new line.

Hi Mark, additional question: is there any way to use lookup text fields in a text formula? It seems like when I combine two lookup text fields in a text formula, the result is just a blank entry.
Lookup fields can absolutely be used in a text formula.  So either there is a problem with your formula or a problem with the data in the fields you are trying to combine.  If you like you can post our formula and also tell us what the value is on an examaple record in the individual fields.

Not sure what I'm doing incorrectly, but quickbase doesn't recognize the field after the "\n". For mine, I'm trying to create a field to print an address on an exact form letter but I just get a syntax error when I attempt this:

List("\n"

[APP Address: Street 1]

[APP Address: City]&", "&[APP Address: State/Region]&" "&[APP Address: Postal Code])
