How to Improve Timeline Report

I have projects table where I have three different categories of projects.  it is quite possible that I may have stores which could fall in one or more project groups with different start and finish dates under category.  Now the question is and it is quite valid from PM point of view as to how does one see a timeline where projects are listed down the left hand side and across the page he/she could see when a project finishes or over laps the other project category.

Will appreciate some insight how to build this one.

You are going to have a tough time getting the native timeline report to catch those things for you (without looking at every store individually).

But you could use an add-on like a gantt chart that groups things by store and then project.
