I have a HTML web submission that is feeding into a form. The API calls ignore any rules or field settings for the "Requesting Agent" User field.

Agents must be signed into QB to access the form already. I cannot find the code that would populate that User Field with the Currently Signed in User.

I thought it would be something like <input type="hidden" FID="xx" value="???"> but..I wouldnt know what to put for the value

Two options come to mind. First, if this form is being populated from a QuickBase record already, using the formula UserToEmail(User()) would generate the e-mail address of the person currently logged in. Second, and most likely the solution to your question, is to edit the field's properties and select the "Current User" value there. Then when your form submits itself to the database, leaving this value blank will use the default value, successfully populating with the user who is currently logged in.
