Can you explain what you mean by "Export Automatically"  Export to where?

Export csv files (tables) to my desktop daily. I don't want to have to click the sync button every time data is updated to my table. Thanks.

Depending on your operating system, you can easily schedule tasks to run.  On windows you have the "Task Scheduler" and on OS X you have "Automator".

You can have the export API URL be called at X:XX A/PM and have the page it returns automatically saved to the desktop.

Hi Chelsea,

I'm sure many people have written scripts to do this.  I know it is possible to do this using the QuNect driver and something like a SQL Agent Job.  The issue with these solutions is that they are either too technical or to specific.  I'm sure you do not want to hire a contractor every time you want a new routine export.

This is why I wrote a script that takes the no-code approach to importing and exporting data.  The script is configurable by the end user and can be run on a periodic basis using Windows Task Scheduler.  You can daisy-chain these operations together to do complex tasks such as exporting data from one table and importing it to another.  I have other modules as well that import and export excel from Sharepoint, send emails, or merge data into an existing excel file.

If you have a desktop or server computer, I would recommend running these scripts from there since it will always be on.

Please let me know if this will work for you.
