Project SchedulingI created my app from the Project management template. It calculates a task start date based on the dependencies project completion date. This is a Start to Finish dependence. I need to keep this logic however, I have a number of cases where I need to have logic to use a Finish to Finish dependency.
Also, if the task completion date is sooner then the projected completion date the the projected compltion date should change to the completion date.  This is turn would pull in the schedule

You could try a combination of WorkDate calculated fields currently setup; together with summary & lookup fields and formula fields.

So in essence you can display in a custom formula date field a date you want to make a Task "due by" or "Completed On" based on either a dependency (QuickBase calculated date) or a date from another task.

It's more setup; and you then need to be careful what users see on their reports and can edit; but it might give you the additional control you need.
