I have a general comments field [on a ticket form] that a user entered information that should not appear. Is there a way that I can edit the entry in the comments field?

The ticket format is client facing and the tech entered the comments in a section that the client can see. I don't want to remove all the information just vendor information that the client should not be privy to.

Is this just on one particular record you are asking about this?  if so, what is stopping you from editing that 1 record.

It's just one record that I need to edit. When I go into the record and click on Show All Entries the display fields box opens and it allows me to highlight the verbiage that I need removed but it doesn't allow me delete or edit it. I am an Administrator on the account.

Is it a field type which is set to Log Changes.  ie are the entries date and user stamped by the system?

Change the field properties not to log changes.

Carefully make your changes.

Turn Log changes back on.
