I have added a "default value" to an existing field. It is a look-up field in other tables. How do I get the default value to now update?

I have added a "default value" to an existing field. It is a look-up field in other tables. How do I get the default value to now be updated in the look-up field in the other tables?

You would need to do a mass update on your existing parent records.  You can do that with grid edit or run a list all type report and use "More" and  then "Find and Replace"

I think the Grid-edit should work.  I should have thought of this on my own...got impatient.  Thanks
