I need to create a formula, that will COUNT the number of "unique" company name instances in Weekly Plan Table. The users can create multiple Plans for the same company. So I want to see how many unique companies are being touched.

You do not need a formula. Simply create a SUMMARY report counting the number of Plans by the [Company] field name to count the number of unique Companies you have plans for. They will be listed as a count of "groups" at the bottom of the report.

I am trying to create a Graph that will show the number of Uniques companies touched each month, and how many Weekly Plan activities took place.   So what I am looking for is to compare their Goal of say 50 companies per month, verses the Actual number of Unique companies that had a weekly Plan associated to it.    I am trying to create a calculation field in a Bar Graph.
