I have a master app that I am dividing up into individual projects with individual programs and home pages being filtered with a project nickname. What I am trying to do is add a URL button on the project page that will change to the page ID of the home page of that program. I can create a URL formula button with an iF statement of If([Project Nickname] = "Some Name", " link to page = page ID"). How can I make this work where the page ID changes based on the project nickname. I built a table with Nickname and Page ID but am having trouble writing a formula to change with the nickname.

Can you post your current formula?

I made a table with the nickname, page ID, and URL and a relationship with the Project Table

URL formula

If([Project Nickname] = "[Nickname]", "https://hussmann.quickbase.com/db/bmddheqbr?a=showpage&pageid= [Page ID]")

I found a temporary solution but it required me to do a lookup which required me to put the fields on the form and select the nickname and use this formula but that is not what I ultimately want

[Nickname - URL]
Well you are on the right track.  If you have a table of nicknames and Page id#'s, like

Roofing 5

Digging 6

Finishing 10

and you had the nickname of the project be chosen off that table, then you could lookup the page # to the projects table.

Then the formula would be

"h t t ps://hussmann.quickbase.com/db/bmddheqbr?a=showpage&pageid=" & totext([lookup of the dashboard page #])
