A Tree Chart is a very useful visualization, and I would like to have to ability to add a HighCharts Tree Chart (or any Tree Chart).....to a record form or dashboard. Is this possible to do?

Example below

http://www.highcharts.com/demo/treemap-coloraxis

Appreciate any advice.

Hey Brad, I'll add this as a comment as opposed to an answer in case someone else in Community has a solution for this.  Unfortunately at this time a Tree Chart is not available in native QuickBase.  I think it's a great suggestion however.  I encourage you to submit a request in our online product feedback forum, User Voice.  Our Product Development teams can review the request and also gather/monitor feedback from other users requesting this functionality and determine if this is something we can deliver!

This is the essential code introduced as a web page widget on the application dashboard - but there are a lot of ways you could introduce the Treemap depending on how you want to invoke it and and where the underlying data is stored.

Hey Brad, you should be able to access the site by clicking this link: https://quickbase.uservoice.com.

Alternatively, when logged into your My Apps page you can click the orange feedback widget on the left-hand side.

Dan, this works great if the each record is unique....what if there were 2 records Named "G" ---- the 1st G has a value = 1 and the 2nd G has a value = 10 .......The tree report should show G=11.....however.....it shows two "G" sections...1st G = 1 and the 2nd G =10........How do I grab summarized data...so that the Tree chart would show G=11? Thank you

It is a simple fix using underscore's groupBy() method to post process the raw data returned by the AJAX call before passing the data to the HighChart. If you want a customized solution feel free to contact me off world using the information in my profile.
