i am trying to create an icon that will display when the [price] is equal to 0.

I tried an If statement and a Case statement and i am getting compatibility errors. What to i start the formula out with for currency type field? do i need to convert it to numeric first?

How would i modify the formula to not show the symbol if the field is left blank? i only want the symbol when the user enters zero.

Set the field properties on the Price field to not treat blank as zero.
