If I created a drop down field with two choices, "Yes" or "No". I set the default value to "Yes" but it does not work. It keeps defaulting to "No"? How can I fix?

Tim, is it defaulting to "No" when you click the add new record button?

I have not added a new project yet.  The "No" is on all existing records.

If you want to update all existing records to something, you can run a List All Report and use the More button to make a mass change.  Default values only apply to new records being created, not to existing records.  You may have started with field off as a checkbox field and then changed your mind and changed it to a Yes No multiple choice field.  In that event, the existing records would have been updated to be NO, when perhaps you were wanted them to be blank.

But regardless of how they got to be the way they are, you can now mass update existing records if you want them all to be set to No.
