If/Than formulas in Quickbase Help

I am in the process of doing a if/then statement in quickbase. Below are the fields that I am using

Projected Annual Cost Savings
Projected Project Cost
Year 1 Difference
Year 1 Realization

I am taking the total projected project cost and subtracting the projected annual cost savings. This will be the total used in the year 1 difference field. I then need that if the number in the year 1 difference field is a negative number for the word Yes to appear in the Year 1 Realization field. If the number in the year 1 difference filed is a positive number then I need for the word NO to appear in the Year 1 Realization field.

I keep having an issue where my formula will give me a 0 or I get a syntax error when trying to fix it. Can anyone point me in the best direction on how to make this work?

Try this as a formula text field

IF([Year 1 Difference]>=0, "NO", "Yes")

The field type  for [Year 1 Realization] needs to be a formula text field type.  It is probaly now a formula numeric type

FYI. The syntax editor should have flag this as an error and that would've helped you. I have put in a ticket to QuickBase support because I have noticed this happen before.
