Is it possible to update a field of a quick base record up on receiving an email?

I have quickbase with one table containing all the employees of my BU, The table has a field to capture employee's 1-1 meeting with manager.

Often times employees are not updating the record on time.

To keep it simple for employees, we plan to ask employees to send email from their registered email to a common email id, up on receiving email we planned to update the record automatically.

I know this can be done with our own mailbox and make use of API to update the record. But I would like to understand is the quickbase platform provides any support for addressing this use case?

QuickBase cannot process incoming emails natively.

We offer an option with our triggers for quickbase add-on to handle this though.
