Is there a way to add a text box on a form where a person accepting my services can sign the form on an iPad right into my quickness database

I am creating a medical consent form that needs a patient signature. can a text box be added to a form where the patient can sign and quicbase accept a digital signature. 

Is quickbase Hippa compliant
