Is there a way to create a link/button in email notifications that will open the record in edit mode?

We use the email notification extensively for internal project management.

On each notification is the standard "Click here to see this record in Quick Base." The only reason we would ever click that is to update the record, which requires a second click to edit the record.

Doesn't sound like much unless you have to do it constantly all day.

It is easy to make a formula URL field to open the record in edit mode, and then you can include that field in the body of your email notification.

Whatever words you use from the “Link Text” will appear in the email notification.

The formula would be

URLRoot() & "db/" & dbid() & "?a=er&rid=" & [Record ID#]
