Is there a way to get Date/Time fields to show the actual time, instead of 12:00 AM?

When I use the calendar to choose the date, it doesn't display the Time portion. Report shows default of 12:00 AM. Need it to be more like the Date Modified field where it shows the actual timestamp.

Hi Chad,

If you have a Date/Time field you can use the calendar function to pick a date but it would be up to the user to enter the time.  When saving, the field would show both the date and the time on the view record form -- much like a Date Created or Date Modified field.  Are you experiencing something different on your end?

One trick for Date/Time fields is to type the letter "n" into the field.  The "n" stands for "now" which will automatically put the current date and time into the field.

Thanks Brendan... Unfortunately I have users in various time zones, From PST, CST, all the way to Manila (PHT)... using the 'n' to get current timestamp works, but the end goal is to track everything in PST. I've been looking for a Date - Formula option that would allow is to display, but no luck so far.

Really appreciate the info on your answer.
