Is there a way to make a formula that does a one time addition based on another field?

I haven't been able to find any way to do this and I don't think there is a way, but I figured I would ask to be sure. I have two fields, [Quantity Received] and [Quantity on Hand]. [Quantity Received] is a numeric field that someone inputs when they receive items. [Quantity on Hand] is a numeric formula field that is a sum of a few different fields, including [Quantity Received]. I was wondering if there was a way for [Quantity Received] to do a one time addition to [Quantity on Hand] only when it is changed to a number higher than 0. I want to do this because I wanted to make a form rule that would change [Quantity Received] back to 0 when the person is done editing the record, but I don't want that to change the amount for [Quantity on Hand]. The reason for this is because the value for [Quantity Received] is shown on an exact form that the user prints out. It would make the entire process much easier and smoother if the value from [Quantity Received] could be added to the [Quantity on Hand] value just once, like a form rule, then set back to 0 for when another item is received.

Thanks in advance.

Currently QuickBase doesn't have this ability, but it's one of the top requested features to be added to QuickBase: https://quickbase.uservoice.com/forums/111823-quickbase-product-feedback/suggestions/1904137-quickba...

If you'll add your support to that idea, whenever it gets added to QuickBase you'll receive an update then.
