I am creating custom email notifications with HTML and would like to know if there is a way to have a solid background color for the email?

It seems all styling must be done inline and I am unable to access the largest container to set it that bg color.

Hello Ted,

So with email notifications, you can create custom messages that include HTML tags for different formatting function. You can test:

http://www.quickbase.com/user-assistance/Default.html#creating_custom_email_tips.html

Make sure the Yes next to the Interpret Custom Message as HTML option is selected.

color text tag example

<b><span><p style="font-style:verdana; color:#000111; font-size:100%">Text Label Here</p>

or background:

"<div style=\"background-color:red;\">"&[Project Net Income]&"</div>"

But this is only for individual lines, not the entire page background.

You can look up on line for the differed HTML color tags or formats.

Hope this helps.

Best,
