We use QB to store customer information and to track their progress though out our process. We would like to store multiple documents under their name in a way that is easy for us to see and download. Any suggestions?
They way I handle similar situations is to create a separate table for the documents.
Your Customer table is the parent (one) the new table the child (many). For the sake of explanation I'll use "Documents" as the name of this new table. In the Documents, have a field or multiple fields for for anything you want to see or search on specific to an individual document such as a title and brief description and possibly a date.
This will create a report window on your Customer record that is a list of the documents for that customer.
