Is there any way of setting the record fields for the API_DoQuery service response for a specific table?

I have the following query with valid appToken and db id:

GET /db/___?apptoken=____&act=API_DoQuery&query={'58'.EX.'124'}&includeRids=true HTTP/1.1
Host: tfgi.quickbase.com
Content-Type: application/xml
Cache-Control: no-cache

The response is returning many records but its content is not the one I need. Instead of returning all the fields, it is returning only 5 fields (from more than 20). What do I have to do to append another field to the response?

Are those 5 fields, your default columns for that table?

Yes you would use the clist parameter with field ids . separated.  Example: clist=6.7.8.9 with a URL GET request or <clist>6.7.8.9</clist> in the POST body
