Hello,

Please Help. We are having issues with pop-up on IE 11, it comes up as a blank window. But it works on Chrome and Firefox.

here is the script:

"javascript:void(window.open('" & URLRoot() &"db/6mztyxu8" & "?a=dbpage&dbid=" & Dbid() &"&rid=" & [Transportation ID#] & "&datefid=23" & "&pagename=recurring.html','recurring','top=240,left=320,width=400,height=150,location=no,menubar=no,toolbar=no'))"

thanks;
Frank.

Hi Frank,

Thanks for being part of the QuickBase Community! My name's Sam, from QuickBase Customer Care.
We understand that proper and timely support is important to all of our customers. At present, IE11 is not a supported browser. We understand that Microsoft is forcing the upgrade with Windows Updates and we are moving as quickly as we can to fully support this new browser update.
While we are not currently supporting the browser, we are continuing to provide client issues to our engineers so that they can better understand the breadth of the issues and adjust their testing accordingly. In the interim, we have had a number of customers that have utilized the IE10 Compatibility View in IE11 with great success. Instructions for using this feature are as follows:
1) From inside Internet Explorer, tap or click the Tools button, and then tap or click Compatibility View settings. 2) Under Add this website, enter [customer's URL], and then tap or click Add.
As soon as IE11 is a supported browser, we will communicate this to our customers.
If you'd like to open a support case, we can add this issue with pop up windows to our IE 11 bug tracking and make sure we address it in an upcoming release. You can create a support case by logging into QuickBase, then clicking on Help in the upper right, then clicking Manage Support Cases.

Have a great day,

Sam Jones QuickBase Customer Care

Is there an update to this? I can't specifically find anything in Quickbase help that IE 11 is now supported.

It's been two years. I just upgraded to IE11 and am not getting the pop-up window, as originally queried here. What's the fix?

This did not work for me...still have pop ups that are blank in IE-11.

Oh well - it's easy enough to just use Firefox which doesn't have this issue.

IE11 seems to still have this issue even today...we have had our users install Firefox which does not have this problem.

Will this ever be addressed?  Reports on home pages get all out of whack when a user selects a new page in a report.
