I have a projects table which is parent to variation table as well as cost management table. I already pull a summary field from variations into projects. Is there a way I can pull the same field into the other child table cost management?
If the relationship is all 1 to 1 to 1 then you should be able to add a lookup field no problem, but if you have different variations you'll want to make it logic as far as what is summarizes. You might have to have some formula fields that evaluate a few conditions and display the appropriate answer. Do you have any more details about your situation?
