Managing "Public" Flow On App

First, my app is a pledging management application for my Rotary Club in an upcoming radioathon fundraiser. The purpose is to manage donor lists and donations. There are three roles, me as Admin, members of the Committee who will be collecting and inputting the data as pledges are received (Team Members), and "Everyone On The Web" (Public) who will be allowed to enter their personal information and then enter a pledge.

Currently the workflow and main screen for Team Members is a report showing the names of previous donors (consolidated data collected over the past number of years) . From here they search a name, and if found can edit if updating is required or add a new record if the donor doesn't exist on file and then enter a pledge, document payment if accompanying pledge and after the pledge and payment data is saved, Quickbase takes them back to the donor list they started from.

I should note, the donor list and pledge data are two related tables.

We want to are allow "Everyone On The Web" access as a public role so they can pledge on line. We want to limit the access the public has so they cannot view existing records of donors on file or any pledge data. So to accomplish this when a public donor arrives at the site, they arrive at a public dashboard, hit the "enter a pledge" button and enter their personal contact info (this is collected regardless if they already have a historical donor record or not as I don't know how to create a very specific search, with out them gaining access to various similar records, ie Smith returns multiple Smiths).
From here, they enter their pledge amount, but after they save their pledge I want the program to send them to just a thank you page, instead right now they receive an error message because they are not privy to the default report (list all donors) that Quickbase sends the "Team Member" and "Admin" role to.

I am thinking there has to be a way to direct the screen flow from role to role?

Thanks

You can open "everyone on the Internet" up to see all records, but set the form to be used for View to be a blank form with just a thank you message using text elements of the form.

If the user starts off by clicking a green "Add Pledge" button, after saving it should redisplay the record on that blank form.  I'm not sure I totally understand your work flow here, but consider alternative of a blank form  and full access to all records to  get around the error message.

Mark, a while back you offered to have a quick look at my app, if the offer is still open I might take you up, only problem is my event is Wed and I have to have it up and functional by then, with minimal changes from where it is now as we have trained the Rotarians on the current set up and work flow.
