Multiple user accounts

I am setting up a job management application and I am a little confused as to how the multiple user account (for 1 e-mail) system works.

Would it be better to add users (admin staff and field techs), each with their own e-mail address (this means i have to go set up an e-mail for all my tech staff).  Or can I just have 1 e-mail for all tech staff and have multiple logins.  so for example:

accounts@company.com = Master account and billing account

Techs@company.com = Single e-mail with multiple user accounts attached.  These guys will have the same role assigned within the master app.

I understand you cant delete an account?  not sure why this is the case...


So i would like to know what is the most prudent way of setting up user accounts in quickbase so that in future I can also start creating workflows etc.

There is absolutely only one answer here.  Each user needs to have their own separate userid.  Each employee should just be invited to the app and register for QuickBase using their company email address.  They should choose their own secret password.  They should also be encouraged to also go into their profiles to set up a short form userid, which will let them log in with fewer keystrokes.

Interesting question. I think it's a rarely used feature. I suppose that it could be used by an Admin level person to be able to do testing in different Roles, but still be using their same @mycompany.com email address.

How do you remove a user account that was created with the same email address? I created this by mistake and do not want to cause confusion within our system.
