The formula for a formula numeric field type  would be

Thx!, So my column heading is "price per month" and below it i have the prices... but  i get this error:
The expression [Price per Month] on the left hand side of the operator "/" is of type text while the expression 80 on the right hand side is of type number. The operator "/" cannot be used with these types of expressions.
What does the data look like in that column?  It appears to be a text field. You cannot divide words by 80.   I suggest that you make a copy of the field (just in case you lose data) and then change the field type to a numeric field type.  Maybe you initially set that field with an incorrect field type.
